SEGONA VARIABLE ASIGNADA AL TEATRILLO

Com explicava a l´anterior entrada d´aquest blog, el revulsiu que suposa disposar del plus d´hores d´observació que dona el remot, ja dona els seus fruits.

Una segona variable, en aquest cas a Cepheus, ha sigut asignada al que escriu i per tant a l´observatori "El Teatrillo de Lyra". Una altra eclipsant tipus EW amb un període de poc més de 6 hores i una magnitud que fluctúa dins el rang 14.07-14.70.

La variable com a tal ha estat batejada per l´AAVSO amb el nom UID 000-BMV888, es troba ubicada a les coordenades  AR 20 45 10.47 Dec +62 11 19.0, i ha estat molt menys afectada per la dispersió que la seva predecessora de fa un mes.

TEATRILLO´S FIRST DISCOVERY

It has been possible at the end!

The moment that every amateur astronomer devoted to fotometry dreamed in some ocasion.
The first discovery made from the "Teatrillo de Lyra" observatory is now a reality.
Yesterday, the 12th of october 2018, the AAVSO (American Association of Variable Stars Observers) assigned to the "Teatrillo" the discovery of a new variable star placed in the Pegasus constellation.

Is about a type EW eclipsing variable with a little less than 9 hours period that needed 9 nights to mesure it.
It has a magnitude around 13 (13.06-13.53) and it has been observed with no filters.
It can be found in these coordenates: 21 46 38.70 +26 44 57.0 and it´s named as GSC 02210-02049

I must say that it hasn´t been easy because has been necessary to make some adjustements until it´s been approved. I want to thank Ramon Naves for his help in order to make the submission to the VSX database in a correct way. Also thanks to Sebastian Otero, AAVSO moderator, for his indications and his patience. The main reason that has made possible this discovery is the fact that since the last august, "The Teatrillo" is already working remotely, so this means more time of observation and therefore the possibility of more discoveries.
